How It Works

A simple, personal process designed
to bring your story to life.

Creating a portrait is more than commissioning a painting. It’s a collaboration—one where your memories, my artistry, and time-honored technique come together to create something unforgettable.

1

Start With a Photo

Send the photos you have. They don’t need to be perfect. Even a phone snapshot can be enough to begin. We’ll take it from there.

2

Tell Me the Story

Share the story behind the portrait. Who is this person, pet, or place? What makes them special? What do you want this portrait to preserve for years to come?

3

I Shape the Portrait

I thoughtfully design the composition, lighting, and setting. I may combine reference photos, refine details, and solve challenges to create the most meaningful and timeless image possible.

4

You Approve the Direction

We review the portrait direction together. If needed, I’ll create a sketch or study for your feedback before the final painting begins.

and Delivered
